Michelle Connolly

Michelle was born in Palmerston North, NZ. Now lives and works in the hills overlooking the Kapiti Coast. She started working life in the film industry, as a make up artist, retiring after twenty years to be a full time Mum. A passion for clay has lead to career in ceramics.

Michelle is a self taught clay artist specialising in coiling/hand building modern organic forms. Drawing inspiration from her environment she reflects this in the texture and patina of her work.
