Lyndy Wilson

Lyndy has a diverse range of styles but the strong use of colour is constant. Relying on instinct and intuition, paintings often evolve layer by layer. Bold gestural movements are counteracted by the need to put things in order.

Art and creativity has always been a passion, painting in particular. Although mostly self-taught, in 2003 Lyndy was awarded an Arts Waikato scholarship which enabled her to complete a Diploma in Art and Creativity through The Learning Connexion in Wellington.

Lyndy lives in the small Waikato town of Ngaruawahia and is of Tainui descent.
